Bush Dismisses Iran As Military Target
"WASHINGTON - President Bush is dismissing the idea that Iran would be the next U.S. military target as "pure speculation," even as the White House seeks to increase pressure on the Islamic nation to cooperate in the fight against terrorism and weapons proliferation.
The topic of Iran was expected to be on the agenda as Bush meets Sunday in St. Petersburg, Russia, with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Moscow's lucrative contract with Tehran to help build a light water nuclear power reactor in southern Iran has been a source of U.S.-Russian friction....."

As the problem of Iran as the next target of US is getting more serious & important & the word "Iran" can be seen more & more in the articles & news, I get more & more confused & excited...you know, these days I receive many e-mails from people of other countries asking me what I think about the probable changing of regime by US & these things, Actually I must confess that even thinking about that makes me so happy & excited that doesn't let me think of the way it will happen...although I think It's a bit soon to predict what's the exact plan of US, for sure Iran completely different from Iraq & for sure Iranians are different from Iraqis. Iran's a much bigger country with a large population & a kind of people who have always fought for their freedom & independence, & today although, under the leadership of cruel mullahs they're tired & need help & support but they will never accept a revolution done by foreigners, like what happened in Iraq....
Anyways, 18 of Tir (July 9th) in coming & that will be a historic day, & a summit point for the future of Iran. Iranians will show how much they are unsatisfied with the regime & care about a better future. They will go to streets to support all students who fought for freedom & now are in prison...yes, for sure that will be a historic day, that might also be bloody but any real revolution needs sacrifice...

It's been raining hard for the last days & in the third month of spring it’s even colder than spring days! I think there is really something wrong with Tehran’s weather these days, but in anyways it's raining & that's always fine....
Today I had physics exam & I've just come home. In the coming week I'll have the most important & difficult exams like geometry, chemistry, math...although I had decided not to but Internet at least for this week but I couldn't & I just bought an expensive 5 hour Internet card in order to think about the money I've paid & use less! It was the first time that I bought Internet from this ISP, & there are so many warnings about controlling users & following Islamic republic rules & these things that I'm a bit afraid even for blogging!
Anyway, these days in Iran nothing is good, the Organization of Islamic Conference summit has been opened & all TV channels are talking about it & wanna show it very important; arresting girls for their appearance in streets is still continuing; & also the game of US & exiles of evil is going on & Iran is becoming more important in the limelight of International news....& an important point is that 18th of Tir is coming & all the oppositions are getting ready for this day that is gonna be an important day with a big anti-government demonstration.
...and we’re watching all these things going on & are waiting to see what happens...

Iran tells women to button up
"Clothing shops and factories have been given a written order to stop producing clothes that stray from the strict female dress codes, the head of a clothing trade union in Tehran told a local newspaper....."
Iran bans women's body-hugging robes as un-Islamic
"TEHRAN, May 25 — Iran has tightened controls on its Islamic dress code for women, banning robes deemed too revealing, newspapers said on Sunday....."
So here is formal news of my Wednesday’s post...just wish that God helps Iranian girls in the coming hot summer with those fuckin clothes!

...As I was web surfing I found an article in Persian blogger chronicles that was really interesting for me, you know there are many ones who criticize the Farsi blogging society but I found it the best likening , although I believe that this Toilet Graffiti can be really useful & revolutionary!
Blogs and Toilet Graffiti:
"A friend of mine recently told my younger brother in Iran that he thought blogging among Iranians was an evolution of toilet graffiti. I laughed out loud when I first heard this... but upon some reflection, I realized that my friend had made a very profound and provocative statement.
one of my favorite pastimes was to read the graffiti behind several of the toilet doors, particularly one that featured works by some very interesting and colorful graffitists. The "posts" were updated almost daily, and with some careful observation, you could decipher the different handwritings to tell if one graffitist had written a new post. I remember one particular string of graffiti written with large blue markers on the tiles near the ceiling, with their content mostly being verbal assaults against people who smoked in the hallways. Another graffitist once wrote a long and hilarious post detailing what he considered to be the "standards" of toilet graffiti, including "writing concisely" and "avoiding spelling-mistakes". Other graffiti was directed against section and department managers in the organization, the pay-roll office, and government officials....."

the weather is sunny & nice, but a kind that makes me crazy, I think I had said before that I hate this time of year & just can't tolerate the passing of time; & now that exams are started & I'm busy & also the memories of the same time of the last year has come to me & for one hundred other reasons I have a bad feeling that nothing is as it has to be & worse than that I can do nothing about it...
Ok, that was my today's nagging, the rest will be written other days! Wow, have you noticed that except sometimes writing about news, the only thing I do here, is complaining about everything!? Perhaps I had to name my weblogs: "complaints of a nagger girl"....!
Anyway, I wrote so much that I was forgetting the most important thing I wanted to say...you know, I heard from some of my friends that in some streets of Tehran like Jordan, the government has started arresting the girls who wear white of light colored clothes! & they are also going to do it in other parts of Tehran...that really is the most foolish thing they can do, arresting girls not even for the model but for the color of their clothes! And I also heard that the reason is the last speech of Reza Pahlavi (Son of the last king of Iran) that he has said to Iranian people to be happy & take off their dark clothes, because the freedom is coming soon....

The story of the Internet and the frustrated mullahs
By MARGARET WENTE
"....The story of the Internet and the mullahs is a fascinating study in how technology can subvert even the most repressive of regimes. In the past couple of years, Iranian authorities have cracked down hard on the country's reformist press, closing newspapers and arresting journalists. But it will be harder for the mullahs to close down the Web. Sina Montallebi has become a powerful symbol of the liberal and technology-savvy generation that the mullahs have failed to suppress....
"I think Weblogs are very powerful in the absence of a free press," says Mr. Derakhshan. But that's not the only reason for their popularity. "Blogs got popular in Iran because of the change in the value system. They're about self-expression, individuality, rationality, and tolerance." The Net is also popular with teenagers and young adults, he adds, because their parents have no idea what they're doing....."

Iran Denies It Has Biological Weapons
"TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iran, already facing U.S. accusations that it is developing nuclear weapons, strongly denied on Friday allegations by an exile opposition group that it had biological weapons.
A senior government official said the charge made by the National Council of Resistance of Iran that Tehran had biological weapons armed with anthrax, smallpox and typhoid was false.
"I strongly deny that we have biological weapons because we do not need any banned weapons," the official, who asked not to be named, told Reuters...."

Fortunately, this school year is going to be finished in some days, & unfortunately the final exams are beginning ...I'm studying hard, because for some reasons at this time I have enough motivations to do well on my exams. Anyway, I'll be really busy in the coming month but thinking about summer holidays makes me good I mean if I stay alive till then...
I had decided to stop writing this weblog for a month but I though that writing one or two posts per day or every other day doesn't take that much time.

U.S. Says Has No Plans for Military Action in Iran
"MOSCOW (Reuters) - Secretary of State Colin Powell said on Thursday Washington has no plans to take military action to stop Iran's nuclear programme, which, Washington says, is a cover to develop nuclear weapons.
Iran, which is building a nuclear power station at Bushehr with Russian help, denies the charge, saying its nuclear energy program is for peaceful purposes.
The United States has been pressing Russia to end support for the program and argues oil-rich Iran, with a population of 66 million people, does not need a nuclear energy programme.
"We are concerned about what Iran is doing (with its nuclear programme)...We believe Russia also has some concerns. We will work with the international community to persuade Iran that they should not move in this direction," Powell told Ekho Moskvy radio station on the last day of a visit to Russia...."
...should we be happy about it? Or does it make another kind of concern?

"Do you believe it is possible to bring democracy to a post-Saddam Iraq?
Yes, but it won't be quick or easy.........................61.5%
No, but anything is better than the status quo.......14.2%
Yes..................................................................12.9%
No....................................................................11.4%"
This is the question & also the result of the last poll of LGF site, what I had answered a while ago & had chosen the first answer, but actually recently my mind is changed & I understood that I was so much optimistic about it, with the news that we hear about Iraqi people & with someone such as Hakim as the leader of Shiite Muslims I think that is impossible & my answer is NO, & If Hakim continues trying for making an Islamic government things will become even worse...

With all those fighting & battles about Internet filtering & explaining about its disadvantages they finally did it & now a huge number of websites & weblogs are blocked, although still the only difference that it has made for me is typing the address of sites I want in another site instead of address bar, I mean with a simple link that one of my friends sent me I have no problem with visiting any sites, & for sure there is no problem for others, the only thing they did was making a reason for people to make fun of them that are so much stupid & think that can control everything even in this cyber world...Anyways, now I understand that It's not important at all & is just another factor to weaken the government...

Another Shi'ite leader now in the mix
"The return of Grand Ayatollah Muhammad Baqir al-Hakim further complicates the Iraqi political scene, just as Washington prepares to form the nucleus of an interim domestic leadership next month.
The 63-year-old Hakim returned to Iraq over the weekend after more than two decades of exile in neighboring Iran. There he formed a movement advocating theocratic rule for Iraq and conducted a low-level, cross-border guerrilla war against the regime of Saddam Hussein. His movement, the Supreme Assembly for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq (SAIRI), was directly supported with funds by Tehran and with arms by Iran's elite Revolutionary Guard....."

It’s easier to run
Replacing this pain with something numb
It’s so much easier to go
Than face all this pain here all alone
Something has been taken from deep inside of me
The secret I’ve kept locked away no one can ever see
Wounds so deep they never show they never go away
Like moving pictures in my head for years and years they’ve played
If I could change I would take back the pain I would
Retrace every wrong move that I made I would
If I could stand up and take the blame I would
If I could take all the shame to the grave I would
If I could change I would take back the pain I would
Retrace every wrong move that I made I would
If I could stand up and take the blame I would
I would take all my shame to the grave

Sometimes I remember the darkness of my past
Bringing back these memories I wish I didn’t have

Salam Pax is back with a long post that made me sat here for a long time reading all he had written...that must be really interesting for anyone in the world, reading notes of a person who lives in a country that has been freed recently & finding out what is happening there from a direct source...anyways, I'm thinking of the time that I can come here & write about a free Iran & explain about every little changes with enthusiasm! What if that day is too far that I can never reach & what if...
New U.S. Concerns on Iran's Pursuit of Nuclear Arms

That big game is still continuing & it seems that little by little Iran's position in this game is getting more important, & all we can do is waiting to see what happens...

Iran's judiciary drafts bill to probe into internet offenses: press
"Iran's judiciary is drawing up a bill to probe into Internet offenses amid rising shift to cyber entertainment in a country where more than 60 percent of the youth are aged below 20, press Tuesday quoted state prosecutor Abdonnabi Namazi as saying, IRNA reported from Tehran.
The move is part of the Islamic Republic's plans to regulate Internet use and clamp down on cyber-acquaintances and solicitations as well as exposure to offensive material....."
It seems that control & filtering Internet is getting serious, & it's said that they have also made a list of websites that they think must be filtered, & soon all ISPs must allow new rules & have filtering software...of course that won't be nice for people who receive information from Internet because for sure they will filter all sources of true information & political sites against the Islamic republic. That's not nice but for sure won't last too long; their time is over & with doing these kinds of things they can not make people thief, blind & unable to think...

US terror tactics in Iran
"At the end of its military operation in April, the US military reached a ceasefire agreement with an Iraqi-based Iranian group, the Mujahideen-e Khalq Organization (MKO), a group declared by the US and British members of the "coalition of the willing" as terrorist. While the Americans described the agreement as a step toward the MKO's surrender, the group's backing by many members of the US Congress and its own claim of a rapprochement suggested a deal between the two sides....."

Blogging for Revolution
By Pejman Yousefzadeh
"...Iranian blogs have become pervasive and popular enough that they are being targeted and watched by the Islamic regime....The Blogosphere has already influenced politics, culture and society immeasurably. It was the first medium to pick up and understand the importance of Trent Lott's infelicitous comments at the 100th birthday of former Senator Strom Thurmond. It has won deserved acclaim in its coverage of Operation Iraqi Freedom and its discussion of the post-September 11th world in general. Let's hope the Blogosphere, and Iranian bloggers in particular, have the power to influence meaningful and effective change in Iranian culture and society. Keep tabs on Iranian bloggers and reformist Iranian websites. They could very well serve as the cyber-shock troops of a new Iranian revolution. ...."

so finally I took the geometry exam that I was so much worry about & that was good...but still I feel so bad when I think about the coming month & the last term exams, for sure I won't have nice & sweet time for a while, but after that everything gonna be fine for the summer holiday, wow; even thinking about that makes me good. I have a feeling that It'll be a great holiday, I have lots of plans for it...
...Today was also the first day of Tehran International Book Fair, a yearly meeting of all publishers & somehow a suitable place for buying books, & very crowded & busy; although I liked to go but I don't think that I'll fine this chance, perhaps at the last days...
oh ; I have just about ten minutes to get prepared & go to my English class & I'm still blogging & web surfing, I don't think that I can say to strict teacher that the reason of being late was practicing English writing...

It's Friday night, & the weather is really cold...so at the time we have a big dilemma,' heater or cooler?' you know these days Tehran's weather is really tricky (as the English teacher said last section!!!)...
Anyway, Sunday I have the midterm geometry exam & also about two weeks later last term exams will start. These days I was studying hard, & found out that it's a good way to stop bothering thoughts; So I'm trying to drown myself in books & lessons to forget these present confusions, & also speed up the passing of time , specially this period of time that I don't like at all...
